CAI's RightPath™ methodology, developed with a focus on the future
direction of care management, is a comprehensive
condition/disease-based, problem-oriented case and disease
management tool that includes elements of utilization management.
There
is a need to utilize standardized, evidence-based methodologies for
UM, DM and CM candidate selection and intervention that
simultaneously serve patient groups' as well as specific patient
needs. To appropriately support similar case and disease management
practice standards, RightPath™ uses clinically validated and reliable
functional status scales to measure patient knowledge, behavior and clinical status as well
as documented best practice guidelines supporting the selection of
interventions. These methods provide consistent assessment and
re-assessment approaches that will result in intra- and inter-rater
reliability, as well as an enhanced ability to report on outcomes. |
